EXCLUSIVE — Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) has vowed to stand up to New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani‘s proposed totalitarianism.
The New York congresswoman introduced a bill earlier this week that would prevent Mamdani from carrying out a previously stated objective in which he said he would arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he ever visited New York City. It was a bold and brave statement by Stefanik in defiance of Mamdani’s dangerous and radical claims. She let it be known that should the socialist win New York’s mayoral election, he would still have to follow U.S. laws and not engage in the fanciful whims of his radical left-wing ideology.
Stefanik’s Sovereign Enforcement Integrity Act would “preempt state and local law enforcement from executing, honoring, or enforcing any request, warrant, or indictment issued by the International Criminal Court unless expressly authorized by federal law.” It is the latest example of Stefanik’s integrity and courage in refusing to let left-wing politicians run roughshod over rules, rights, and laws as they pursue ideological ambitions and seek to implement their political desires.

Stefanik’s proposed legislation comes almost a year after the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu in November 2024. However, the ICC’s declarations or rulings have no authority in the United States, as our country is not a member of that organization. Mamdani commented on Sept. 12 that he would adhere to the ICC’s request and arrest Netanyahu if he visited New York. And, in doing so — or at least claiming he would do so — meant that the mayor of New York would prioritize the governance of a foreign entity over the laws of the U.S.
It’s just one of several reasons that Mamdani would be a disaster if he wins New York City’s mayoral election in November. Sadly, all legitimate election projections have him doing so.
“Antisemite Communist Zohran Mamdani pledged to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu if he came to NYC. The United States is not part of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and their antisemitic States,” said Stefanik. “That is why I introduced the Sovereign Enforcement Integrity Act to protect American sovereignty and prohibit radicals like Mamdani from illegally arresting the leader of our democratic ally, Israel.”
I asked Stefanik about Mamdani’s authoritative hubris. She elaborated on Mamdani’s arrogance and belief that “he has the authority to do whatever.” She said his comments stemmed from a general apprehension to confront Mamdani head-on, a task Stefanik clearly does not fear.
“Commie Mamdani thinks he has the authority to do whatever he wants because no one in the New York Democrat Party has the spine to stand up to him, especially the worst Governor in America, Kathy Hochul,” Stefanik told me.
I mentioned that Mamdani’s statements are indicative of some of history’s worst socialists, communists, and totalitarians.

“The reality is he has absolutely no authority to do this,” Stefanik said. “And he wants to defund the police on top of it. Unlike Kathy Hochul, who bends the knee to this Communist Antisemite, I will work to stand up for American society and against antisemitism.”
Stefanik deserves praise for her actions here. At a time when many have raised concerns over Mamdani’s candidacy, she decided to stop talking and take action.
