Trump revokes Kamala Harris’s Secret Service detail ahead of book tour

President Donald Trump revoked former Vice President Kamala Harris‘s Secret Service detail on the eve of her book launch and tour.

A senior White House official confirmed Trump’s decision to the Washington Examiner on Friday but underscored that vice presidential Secret Service protection “typically” only lasts six months after the second-in-command leaves office.

Harris’s highly anticipated memoir recounting her failed 2024 campaign against Trump, 107 Days, is expected to be released on Sept. 23. She is then scheduled to embark on a 15-city book tour.
