Teachers union — antifa ally

.

A powerful opponent of school choice, the National Education Association, made a great case against itself recently by secretly deciding to refer to President Donald Trump always as a fascist.

America’s biggest teachers union, a propaganda and organizational arm of the Democratic Party, hid its convention decisions, but Corey DeAngelis, senior fellow of the American Culture Project and a proponent of school choice, revealed them.

One union decision read, “NEA pledges to defend democracy against Trump’s embrace of fascism by using the term facism (sic) in NEA materials to correctly characterize Donald Trump’s program and actions.” One reason to get your child out of NEA classrooms is that its members obviously write poorly, split infinitives, and cannot spell “fascism.”

But a bigger reason is that by flinging the “fascist” insult, the union shows it doesn’t know what fascism is, and ignorance is a poor qualification for teaching. Trump does not have the paramilitary force, cult of war, imperial designs, or ideological dynamism that are elements in any reasonable definition of fascism, as the Spectator noted in January. By sloppily chucking “fascist” at the president, teachers show a commitment to indoctrination at the expense of education.

There’s a bigger reason to get children away from NEA-dominated schools. It’s that the union’s anti-fascist pose allies it with the terrorist frauds of antifa. Ten antifa members have just been charged with the attempted murder of a Texas police officer who was intervening to stop their assault on the home of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer.

The would-be killers dress up their black-clad nihilism in the garb of freedom fighters against federal fascism. The NEA, likewise, dresses up its antidemocratic opposition to the federal government in the camouflage of antifascism.

Antifa and Big Labor connect through the Democratic Party, to which the union gives its members’ money, and the officials of which are trending from traditional debate to support of direct political violence. “Our own base is telling us … there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public,” one elected Democrat told Axios. Another added, “Civility isn’t working,” so next comes “violence … to fight to protect our democracy.” Violence against the popular vote is democratic? Who knew?

Democratic and leftist behavior — threatening Supreme Court justices, barracking Jews, and hectoring Republicans in restaurants — has for years not been what decent people regard as demonstrating civility. Where the Democratic leftist base goes, so goes the party. Former President Joe Biden, remember, was useful to the militants only as a sort of centrist camouflage for a lurch toward radicalism.

DEMOCRATS ARE RIGHT — THEY’RE SCREWED

Democrats, labor unions, and antifa are kicking traditional restraint to the curb so they can fight a president who is implementing policy he promised and which got him elected. Chief among them is immigration enforcement, which is the one supported most by the public — the most democratic.

So that’s the modus operandi of the Left and Democrats. They hate America, some openly and most at least implicitly. For years, they used illegal immigration to make America less American. Actual Americans hate this. Actual Americans voted for the Left’s diligent work of destruction to be undone. This is happening. So, the Left is taking up arms against its country.
