Trump calls for AOC to take cognitive test after she called for his impeachment

.

President Donald Trump said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) should be required to take a cognitive test in response to her calls that he be impeached for calling for a military strike against Iran.

In a lengthy post shared on Truth Social, Trump mocked Ocasio-Cortez, calling her “one of the dumbest people in Congress.”

“AOC should be forced to take the Cognitive Test that I just completed at Walter Reed Medical Center, as part of my Physical,” Trump posted. “As the Doctor in charge said, ‘President Trump ACED it,’ meaning, I got every answer right.”

Trump said Ocasio-Cortez’s call for impeachment was rooted in bitterness over his administration’s “victories.”

“The Democrats aren’t used to WINNING, and she can’t stand the concept of our Country being successful again,” Trump posted. “When we examine her Test Scores, we will find out that she is NOT qualified for office.”

The clash began when Ocasio-Cortez accused Trump of violating the Constitution by ordering a strike on Iranian targets without first seeking congressional authorization.

“The President’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers,” Ocasio-Cortez posted on X. “He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.”

In a separate post, Ocasio-Cortez addressed Trump’s attacks.

“Mr. President, don’t take your anger out on me — I’m just a silly girl,” she wrote. “Take it out on whoever convinced you to betray the American people and our Constitution by illegally bombing Iran and dragging us into war.”

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE THREE IRAN NUCLEAR SITES TARGETED IN US STRIKES

While Ocasio-Cortez called for impeachment immediately after news of the strikes, Democratic leaders have taken a more cautious approach. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) have called for more information and briefings from the administration before considering any formal actions. Jeffries emphasized the need for a vote on a war powers resolution introduced by Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY), rather than an immediate push for impeachment.

Trump also slammed other Democratic lawmakers, including Reps. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN), while ridiculing Democratic leadership and accusing it of running a “radical left experiment” during former President Joe Biden’s term.
