President Donald Trump is hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers at the White House on Monday as the baseball team celebrates its 2024 World Series championship.
The celebration is set to begin around 11 a.m. in the East Room of the White House.

The LA Dodgers accepted Trump’s invitation to Washington, D.C., last month “in keeping with long-standing baseball tradition.“
“This was something we discussed with all the players, all of whom wanted to go,” Stan Kasten, team president, told the Los Angeles Times. “Remember, everyone in here grew up wanting to be a world champion and all the things that come with it, and it comes with a champagne toast, silliness in the locker room, a parade, rings, an invitation to the White House. It’s what they all come to associate with being world champions.”
