Unsure about Trump? Then vote for Vance

.

Can you believe it? Tuesday is the most important Election Day in decades. The polls say it is a dead heat, but other signs point to a win for former President Donald Trump

As hopeful as I feel about the chances that Trump will win this election, and even take the House and Senate along with him, too many old-guard Republicans may vote against him. They fear and loathe him, just as the dimwit Democrats do in Washington.

There is also a concern that too many undecided voters, and too many Democrats sick of the Biden-Harris administration’s ultraliberal bent, may find it hard to vote for Trump. He is the outsider. He is brash and egotistical, and he puts out mean, unpresidential tweets. Exaggeration is part of his DNA.

To these folks dreading a vote for Trump, we should urge them to consider this: Then don’t. Vote for Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH).

Vance, Trump’s running mate, is the single best vice presidential candidate in decades. He is a fierce defender of his boss. And Vance is smart, articulate, strong without being strident, and combative without making it bitter or personal. In fact, Trump could learn a lesson or two on this from Vance.

Vance supports his points with real facts and stats. He wipes out the lib-witted on-air anchors who interview him. And Vance is likable, authentic, and real — traits that Harris lacks.

Plus, you can vote for the rather incredible team that Trump has lined up. Lifelong Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is fearlessly truthful, contrarian, and bold in his ideas for solutions to the healthcare crisis we face. Former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard is so tough she must eat roofing nails for breakfast. Republican Vivek Ramaswamy is erudite, well-spoken, and a great debater with innovative ideas. Tucker Carlson can move millions of people.

And there is Elon Musk, the most amazing entrepreneur of our time and a champion of the First Amendment. He says he can cut $2 trillion from annual government spending, a 28% reduction, which is nothing compared with the 80% whack to spending he delivered when he took over Twitter, now X.

Musk likes to say the most likely outcome in life is often the most entertaining one. This is because he thinks our world may be one huge video game simulation run by someone else, somewhere else. Electing Donald Trump and J.D. Vance most definitely would provide the most entertaining outcome.

Vance is an outsider, just like Trump. He was elected to the U.S. Senate from Ohio only in 2022. He grew up in a troubled lower-class home, graduated high school, and went straight into the Marines, serving four years in a noncombat role. Then he went to Ohio State and Yale Law School and became a venture capitalist. He’s real.

If Trump doesn’t make it through a first term, we would be in good hands with Vance. And if Trump delivers on his potential to create one of the greatest one-term presidencies in history, Vance will make an even better successor after four years of White House experience.

Vote Vance.
