Buzz: Conservative Visa card wins big backing, Betty Ford in lights, Rokk-ing out

.

Coign, the new Visa card for conservatives, is hoping to build on its customer loyalty by offering investment packages for as low as $500 to card users.

Founder and CEO Rob Collins told Secrets, “People are really excited just to say, ‘Not only do I want to have a conservative credit card, but I want to invest in the company that’s behind it.’”

Collins said he had a first-week goal of raising $50,000. The McLean, Virginia-based firm raised $400,000.

Coign’s claim to fame is that he won’t contribute to “woke” charities and will help fight big bank cancel culture, especially of Republicans.

— Former first lady Betty Ford is getting her spotlight at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In a new exhibit, the library is featuring her trailblazing battle with breast cancer. “In a time when breast cancer was a private disease, first lady Betty Ford chose to go public with her diagnosis, sharing her experiences with the American public. Her courage and candor encouraged American women to prioritize their own healthcare, resulting in a phenomenon dubbed ‘The Betty Ford Blip’ as the number of women who scheduled their own breast exams surged,” the museum said.
