Harris and Walz rally Pennsylvania and Wisconsin voters

Vice President Kamala Harris is holding a campaign rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, her first visit to Erie since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee.

Harris is expected to speak at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Before her rally at Erie Insurance Arena Monday night, Harris will meet with black leaders to discuss her newly announced opportunity agenda for black men.

Specifics from the plan include giving out more than a million fully forgivable loans of up to $20,000 for black entrepreneurs, expanding opportunities for black men to hold good-paying jobs, investing in a National Health Equity Initiative, and legalizing recreational marijuana, as well as creating employment opportunities for black men in the legal marijuana industry.

Before Harris’s rally, her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), will hold a campaign rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, alongside fellow Midwestern Govs. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) and Tony Evers (D-WI).
