Karine Jean-Pierre and bleach: More lies and misinformation spread about Trump

.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, the Biden administration, and the Democratic political machine are at it again when it comes to spreading lies, deception, and misinformation. During a briefing on Thursday, the White House press secretary loaded up on the misinformation distribution and made false claims about what former President Donald Trump instructed people to do during the COVID-19 pandemic.

While discussing the forthcoming Bob Woodward book War, Jean-Pierre was asked about the revelations that Trump sent Russian President Vladimir Putin COVID tests. She declined to comment, saying she would let the “president speak for himself and how he behaved and the actions that he’s taken.” She then falsely accused the former president of advising people to inject bleach to combat the virus.

“And look, when we came into this administration, we did not have a comprehensive strategy to deal with COVID,” Jean-Pierre said. “That did not happen. I mean, you had a former president who was telling people to inject bleach — to inject bleach.”

Well, that did not happen either.

At no time did Trump ever tell anyone to inject bleach. This was a lie concocted by agenda-driven Democrats meant to discredit Trump and persuade people in the country not to vote for him. It was nothing more than a baseless political attack by Democrats. It worked, as many people believed this claim, mainly because the corrupt legacy media advanced the agenda-driven, deceitful, manipulated, and false talking points that Trump made such a suggestion.

However, the truth is quite different from the reality Jean-Pierre created. Consider the facts.

The controversy stems from a press briefing Trump held on April 23, 2020, in which he spoke following a presentation by William Bryan. At the time, Bryan was the undersecretary for science and technology at the Department of Homeland Security. He lectured about a study showing that exposure to sunlight and strong disinfectant chemicals could kill COVID-19 on surfaces.

Trump then commented on Byran’s presentation and wondered if the methods he discussed could be used against human contagion.

Here is everything Trump said about it that day:

“A question that probably some of you are thinking of if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting,” Trump said. “So, supposedly we hit the body with a tremendous, whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light, and I think you said that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it.”

“And then I said, ‘supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way,’” Trump hypothetically asked Bryan. “And I think you said you’re going to test that, too. Sounds interesting, right?”

“And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in one minute,” Trump continued. “And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it’d be interesting to check that, so that you’re going to have to use medical doctors with, but it sounds interesting to me. So, we’ll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute. That’s pretty powerful.”

Later in the briefing, Trump was even explicitly asked by a journalist if he was specifically suggesting injecting disinfectants into those with COVID-19. Trump said no.

“It wouldn’t be through injections, almost a cleaning and sterilization of an area,” Trump said. “Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t work, but it certainly has a big effect if it’s on a stationary object.”

None of this recommended injecting anything into the body to counter COVID-19.

Even Snopes and PolitiFact, fact-checking sites that are undoubtedly not supportive of Donald Trump, admitted he did not suggest people inject disinfectants or bleach to combat COVID-19.

In reality, this was a lie started by none other than the beacon of honesty and truth himself: Joe Biden, then-candidate for president of the United States. Democrats — and their accomplices in the legacy media — platformed and regularly repeated it. But, the truth is, and always has been, Trump never told people “to inject bleach.” He never even used the word “bleach.”

Jean-Pierre lied, as every Democrat who made this claim did. The people responsible for advancing this lie are the Democrats who accused Trump of saying such nonsense and their accomplices in the legacy media. This is particularly rich given that Jean-Pierre is part of the Biden administration, the same Biden administration that wanted a “disinformation czar.”

The whole ordeal is indicative of the power of Democrat dishonesty and left-wing media bias. It’s yet another example of how they deceive and manipulate minds and opinions. It is reflective of just how corrupt Democrats and the agenda-driven, sympathetic-to-Democrats legacy media genuinely are.
