The White House is facing a new round of questions about the president’s health after the Las Vegas Police Department turned over radio recordings suggesting a far more troubling situation than the “mild symptoms” spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre claimed days before President Joe Biden dropped out of his reelection campaign.
The 43-minute recording, provided to Judicial Watch, indicated that police were locking down parts of the city after Biden canceled a July speech.
“For everybody on the radio, right now POTUS [Biden] is 421 [sick or injured]. He’s being seen, so we are kind of waiting to see how this is shaping out, so for everybody’s knowledge he’s 421 right now. We’re just trying to figure out what’s going on and we’re going to go from there,” said one transmission.

Several indicated that an emergency was unfolding, such as this discussion Judicial Watch released Friday:
“Officer: Can you have all the units that are assigned to the motorcade come down to Desert Inn and Eastern, DI and Eastern? And, I need them here ASAP…
“Officer: When you say ASAP, do you want us Code 3 [lights and sirens] there?
“Officer: Yes, please.”
There was talk about readying the local hospital for Biden to be rushed into.
Judicial Watch said, “In the 4:03 minute recording, officers are heard over the radio rushing to secure the perimeter of University Medical Center Hospital and rendezvous outside Valley Hospital emergency room entrance in anticipation of Biden’s arrival. A Max Tac Alert, meaning maximum tactical alert, is declared over the radio. ‘He is in the box squad.’ Plain clothes officers are directed to tac up before heading to the Valley Hospital.”
And Judicial Watch said the transmissions revealed plans to shut down presidential motorcade routes: “In the 4:20 minute recording, officers are heard over the radio being directed to respond, Code 3, lights and sirens, to start blocking intersections and closing roads to traffic. Officers are on two different radio channels with some units moving with the ‘package,’ referring to Biden, while other units are scrambling to close roads for the president’s motorcade movement.”

Eventually, Biden flew to Delaware, and photographs caught a weak-looking president walking on the stairs of Air Force One.
The White House dismissed larger concerns, with the press spokeswoman saying that the vaccinated and boosted Biden was “experiencing mild symptoms” from COVID-19. She said that he was “returning to Delaware where he will self-isolate and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time.”
At the time, Biden was giving campaign speeches, but he also was under pressure to drop out of the race.

Four days later, Biden dropped out of his reelection campaign and backed Vice President Kamala Harris.
“These Las Vegas Police Department recordings raise significant questions about whether the American people were told the full truth about President Biden’s health status,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
