A former Newsmax anchor has signed on to anchor a show out of Christian news alternative Trinity Broadcasting Network.

Centerpoint, a show hosted by the likes of Doug McKelway, Erick Stakelbeck, Mike Huckabee, and Blynda Lane, will now feature Lyndsay Keith at its helm. Keith’s first time hosting will be Monday.

Keith was previously the co-host of Spicer & Co., where she worked since 2020. Co-host Sean Spicer quit the program in April. Before that, Keith was the deputy communications director for the Republican National Committee and got her start in news working for the Liberty Flames Sports Network in 2009.

“With all that is going on in the world, I am looking forward to reporting on national and global news from a biblical worldview, leaving viewers with a sense of hope,” Keith said in a statement. “I have been impressed by TBN’s team and success, and am excited to join a network whose core purpose is to share the truth and good news.”

“Lyndsay’s accurate yet compassionate approach to reporting current events is the ideal fit for TBN, Centerpoint — and the countless viewers who’ve been looking for a positive alternative to TV’s mainline news media,” TBN President Matt Crouch said. Crouch’s parents, Paul and Jan Crouch, founded the network in 1973.

TBN reaches some 95 million households with its programming. Spicer & Co. boasted an average of 176,000 viewers per episode in the final week it aired.
