The Texas Republican used Mother’s Day to reveal that his wife, Tara Crenshaw, is pregnant with a baby girl.

“Little Suzy Crenshaw is coming soon!” he wrote in a Mother’s Day tribute on Instagram.
In the holiday post, Crenshaw included a childhood photo of himself with three generations of women. “There are 3 generations of mom’s in that picture,” he said. “Mother’s Day is always a bit difficult for me, since I lost my mom to cancer when I was 10. Susan Crenshaw was 40 years old when she lost her battle to breast cancer.”
The name Suzy is likely an homage to his late mother.
In a subsequent photo, the congressman’s wife, Tara, smiles with hot air balloons behind her. The last photo features a sonogram of a baby.
The two have been married for about 10 years, and this will be their first child.
This comes after Crenshaw’s Republican colleague, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), revealed her own pregnancy. The freshman representative is expecting her first child in August.

“We are very excited to welcome our son later this summer,” Luna said. “Children are a blessing, and we could not have asked for a greater gift.”
Notably, Luna will only be the 12th member of Congress to give birth while in office.
