New poll shows Democrats have been the extremists on abortion

Left-wing politicians, pundits, and other elitists have regularly criticized Republicans on abortion. This is especially true after the Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturned Roe v. Wade and held that the United States Constitution does not protect any right to abortion.
Predictably, the Left used this ruling to label Republicans as extremists regarding the killing of the unborn. Yet, data shows that it was actually Democrats who’ve become more radical on abortion, not Republicans.
SCHUMER’S ZOMBIE ERA VOTE IS JUST A STUNT
A new poll published by Pew Research Center last week showed that between 2007 and 2023, there’s been a 20% increase among Democrats who believe that abortion “should be legal in all or most cases.” In 2007, 63% of Democrats felt abortion should always be legal; in 2023, that grew to 84% of Democrats. Meanwhile, the percentage of Republicans has roughly stayed the same over that period, with only a 1% increase in support, going from 39% to 40%.
It is an important revelation and debunks many of the claims and narratives espoused by the Left. It’s also indicative of how deceitful left-wingers are in trying to advance agendas and political platforms.
Republicans were always portrayed as forcing their views on abortion, but the data show that it was false. Democrats grew more rabid in their support; they were aggressive, seeking to impose a radical morality on the population. Republican principles have remained constant over the years, and the facts prove it.
Unfortunately, such tactics are also how the Left effectively controls the messaging on abortion.
They feign outrage and accuse their political opponents of the very fanatical behavior they are doing themselves. They facilitate fear in a portion of the population to manipulate public opinion. They then brainwash them into believing they are marginalized, oppressed, and losing rights. Then, use this hysteria to try to influence policy and legislation.

Nevertheless, protecting the lives of the unborn is, and has always been, a noble objective.
While it’s unsurprising, the data from the Pew Research Center shows that, once again, Democrats are prodigies of propaganda, not masters at being honest and truthful. The Left knows they must distract the public with panic because they do not have any moral ground to stand on when saving babies. The only thing they want to protect is their power and authority — even if it means squelching the rights of the most vulnerable humans.
