The Montana House voted to censure Democratic state Rep. Zooey Zephyr Wednesday, barring her from the rest of the legislative session.

Zephyr, who is transgender, has not been recognized on the House floor since last week after calling out Republicans for attempting to ban gender-transition care for transgender youth. She is permitted to vote remotely but will not speak on the floor.
