On the heels of his high-profile exit from Fox News, Tucker Carlson appeared unfazed on a golf cart in Florida with his wife.

“I haven’t eaten dinner with my wife on a weeknight in seven years,” he added, according to the report.

Asked about his future, he said, “Appetizers plus entree.”

Carlson’s exit from the network was announced Monday morning in a press release from Fox News.

“FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” a network spokesperson told the Washington Examiner in a statement.

On Monday night, the time slot was hosted by Brian Kilmeade. Ratings show Fox News lost roughly hundreds of thousands of viewers in the 8 p.m. hour since Carlson’s firing.

Fox News Tonight will continue to fill the slot with a rotating group of Fox News personalities as hosts until a new permanent host is selected.

Carlson’s departure was the second high-profile exit from Fox News in less than a week. Days before the shocking announcement, Dan Bongino revealed that he would no longer be producing his television or radio shows for Fox News or Fox Nation after the two could not come to an agreement for a contract extension.
