Don Lemon offered fast-food job to start over: ‘Get you in front of the right grill’

Former CNN host Don Lemon has been offered a chance to start over after he was fired from the cable network on Monday.
Upon hearing of Lemon’s termination, rapper Rick Ross took to social media to offer Lemon a job at Wingstop.

“Just found out Don Lemon was terminated from CNN,” Ross said. “Damn, Don. But guess what? The brothers got your back. We hiring at Wingstop, and for some reason, I believe you know what you doing with them lemon pepper wings.”
“So, man, just send over your resume,” continued Ross, who reportedly owns around 30 Wingstop locations. “Seventeen years. Damn. But I’ma make sure I get you in front of the right grill, brother. Stay solid, brother.”
In a separate video, Ross also suggested a partnership between Lemon and his RapStar energy drink line.
“Just came up with a wonderful idea. Well, really, Don, you helped me come up with this,” Ross said. “I need to hit the team over at RapStar Energy Drink and let them know we should introduce the Don Lemon flavor. What y’all think? Aye, Don, we got you, brother!”
Lemon announced on Twitter Monday that he had been terminated from CNN, saying he was “stunned” and suggested there were “some larger issues at play.”
CNN released a statement following the termination, noting that the network offered Lemon an “opportunity to meet with management but [that he] instead released a statement on Twitter.”
Lemon’s termination follows recent backlash for his comments about women.

Earlier this year, Lemon suggested Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley was past her “prime.”
He has also been accused of inappropriate behavior and misconduct toward female co-workers during his time at CNN.
