Vegan Eric Adams forces his deficient diet on schoolchildren, hospital patients

New York City Mayor Eric Adams thinks he is better than you, which is why he now wants to force New Yorkers to adopt his vegetarian lifestyle.
Adams is cutting meat from the menus for New York City schools and public hospitals, despite the negative effect it will have on children and patients. This is partly an exercise in self-importance by a self-important man.

Although he eats fish, Adams calls himself a vegan. This is the reason he asserts that “a plant-powered diet is better for your physical and mental health.” After all, that is his diet, and who knows better about what is good for you than Eric Adams?
The other part, though, is Adams’s commitment to the Democratic Party’s climate cult.
“It is easy to talk about emissions that are coming from vehicles and how it impacts our carbon footprint, it is easy to talk about the emissions that’s coming from buildings and how it impacts our environment,” Adams said. “But we now have to talk about beef. And I don’t know if people are really ready for this conversation.”
Yes, not only is Adams going to impose his diet on students and hospital patients, but he wants to now talk about banning meat altogether. So does the New York Times, which said that “Americans will have to eat differently if they want to rein in climate change.”
If you’re keeping track at home, this means we are only a few months away from Democrats floating bans on beef while claiming that conservatives are starting a culture war by noticing that they are doing so. This issue has been floating around the Democratic Party for a few years now. It’s about time that it comes to a head, with Democrats proposing to eliminate meat — the single most nutrient-dense food available to most people — from diets altogether.

That Adams is now the face of this move is unsurprising. He fulfills the stereotype of the vegan who wants to force his lifestyle on everyone and the New York mayor stereotype of thinking he should be able to make your health and diet decisions for you. Adams’s new cultural fight comes at the same time the Democratic Party’s climate hysteria has targeted cars and gas stoves, both moves pushed by President Joe Biden. Obviously, Adams and his presidential ambitions didn’t want to be left out.
Adams wants to be a public health authoritarian, as evinced by his torment of children during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also thinks that eliminating meat from pockets of New York City, and eventually the U.S., will somehow counteract China’s massive carbon emissions, which persistently cancel out the rest of the world’s carbon reductions. He is the perfect combination of arrogance and uselessness, which helps explain why he is ignoring a growing crime crisis despite running on that issue in the first place.
