White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is holding a daily press briefing, and John Kirby, the NSC Coordinator for Strategic Communications, will join her.

The briefing comes at the closing of a chaotic week, with President Joe Biden’s likely 2024 opponent, former President Donald Trump, being arrested and arraigned in New York. Thursday’s briefing is likely to touch on different topics, however, with Kirby likely speaking about Biden’s trip to Northern Ireland.

The White House said the visit will celebrate the “tremendous progress” made since the 1998 Good Friday Agreement, the Belfast Telegraph reported.

The press briefing comes before Vice President Kamala Harris’s visit to a Georgia solar panel manufacturing plant, where she will tout the Biden administration’s “Investing in America” tour.
