WATCH: Pelosi heckled as ‘warmonger’ and ‘sad old drunk’ at New York event

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was called a “warmonger” and “sad old drunk” among other descriptors at a recent speaking engagement in New York.
Pelosi lost the limelight at the City University of New York Graduate Center speaking event with Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman on Monday when audience members stood up one-by-one and began heckling the former speaker about government corruption and foreign policy.

“You know Pelosi, that’s a very good place for you in the depths of hell,” one heckler shouted. “For some reason, you have a very bad obsession of getting us into war. Hey, why is it that you did not admit that there were no WMDs in Iraq? You lied us into a war in Iraq. You got us to invade Afghanistan. Now over 90% of those people are impoverished and are dying. Why don’t you tell the truth about Nordstream?”
In the now-viral video that was posted to social media on Wednesday, attendees can be heard booing as Pelosi motioned for the heckler to sit down.
“Why did we destroy Nordstream? You’re leaving millions of Germans without energy!” the heckler can be heard yelling while being removed from the event. “People like you should be arrested. You are a war criminal!”
Another heckler then stood and began to shout: “Hey congresswoman. I came to see a warmonger, but you’re a sad old drunk! What happened? When you went to Taiwan, were you looking for Ukraine? Did we blow up the Nordstream on accident or on purpose?” he shouted.
“Did you know about that? Aren’t you supposed to be part of the indictment tomorrow?” he shouted, referencing former President Donald Trump’s arraignment held Tuesday morning. “You’re a war criminal by definition, Ms. Pelosi. You got some nerve.”

“You goddamn war criminal! How many people have died in your f***ing name?” he continued while being escorted out.
The video showed two other hecklers rising to speak out as the audience booing continued. They, too, were quickly removed by security.
