The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee is holding a hearing on alleged union-busting by Starbucks.

STARBUCKS CEO AGREES TO TESTIFY BEFORE CONGRESS FOLLOWING SANDERS SUBPOENA THREAT

The hearing, held at the G50 Dirksen Senate Office Building, is titled “No Company is Above the Law: The Need to End Illegal Union Busting at Starbucks.” The hearing will see deliberations over accusations that the coffee company has engaged in union-busting, disrupting the organizing efforts of its employees.

The first panel will feature testimony from Howard Schultz, a member of the board of directors and the former CEO of Starbucks. That will be followed by several guests on the second panel, including barista Maggie Carter, fired labor leader Jaysin Saxton, Harvard law professor Sharon Block, and Heritage Foundation senior research fellow Rachel Greszler.
