Terrifying moment LA meteorologist collapses live on-air during weather report

Los Angeles CBS meteorologist Alissa Carlson Schwartz collapsed on live TV Saturday morning just as her co-anchors tossed to her for an update on the area’s expected rainfall.
As Schwartz was about to begin her report, she leaned forward in an attempt to catch herself before losing consciousness, and falling to the ground.

Co-anchors Nichelle Medina and Rachel Kim were stunned as they quickly realized something had gone wrong, telling viewers that they were going to take a quick break.
The broadcast reportedly did not return back to a live segment.
At the time of publishing, the video had been viewed more than 1.5 million times on Twitter and 91,000 times on YouTube.
Schwartz took to Facebook to express her gratitude, saying, “I am going to be ok!”

The station also thanked fans for their support and concern following the incident, saying “We’ve heard from many people as well worried about Alissa’s well-being. We also want to thank those of you who reached out for your thoughts and prayers.”
It added that Schwartz will be back on air “as soon as she’s well enough to return.”
