Biden’s ridiculously fake gay marriage ‘epiphany’

President Joe Biden should collaborate with Mel Brooks on a “History of the World” series because, if you listen to many things the president says, he seems to have been everywhere doing something related to important historical and cultural moments in history. And, if you listen to his tall tales, he’s also allegedly a shining example of diversity.
Consider just some of his impressive cultural accomplishments.
Biden claimed he was a devout Catholic who went to church every morning yet also regularly attended black churches. Then, he supposedly also went to “shul more than” many Jewish people, in addition to attending daily Catholic masses and frequent black Protestant church services. He supposedly went to services on Saturday and Sunday, Biden said in Oct. 2022.
With all of this religion and spirituality, it’s shocking he still supports abortion, but he does. Given all of his churchgoing, Biden might be the most religious person ever who wanted to kill babies.
And the guy who was born and raised in Scranton in 1942 also claimed he was “sort of raised in the Puerto Rican community.” That one is interesting.
There are numerous other examples. The latest includes Biden supposedly having an “epiphany” on gay marriage as a high school senior. During an interview with actor Kal Penn, Biden cited the exact moment he changed his mind about homosexuality.
“I remember about to get out of the car, and I look to my right, and two well-dressed men in suits kissed each other. … And I’ll never forget it, I turned and looked at my dad and he said, ‘Joey, it’s simple. They love each other,'” Biden recalled about the incident. “It’s just that simple, it doesn’t matter whether it’s same-sex or a heterosexual couple, you should be able to be married,” he continued. “So what is the problem?”

So naturally, Biden spent the next nearly 50 years of his political career opposing gay marriage. He voted for the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996, and ten years later, while on “Meet the Press” with Tim Russert, Biden commented that “marriage is between a man and a woman and states must respect that.”
Biden had no epiphany on gay marriage in the 1960s. He’s making it up. And it’s just the latest snow job by a political con man who panders to every marginalized group he possibly can when given the opportunity. The only thing people can trust about Biden is his inability to tell the truth.
