Former President Donald Trump will reportedly hold the first rally of his 2024 election campaign on March 25 in Waco, Texas.

Alex Isenstadt, a Politico reporter, announced the news in a tweet Friday evening, saying he had learned about the Saturday event from someone familiar with the situation.

TRUMP RETURNS TO FACEBOOK AFTER END OF BAN: ‘I’M BACK!’

News of the return of Trump’s unique style of campaign events comes the same day the former president announced his return to Facebook.

“I’M BACK!” Trump wrote in a post that included a video from a public appearance after his 2016 victory.

His return to Facebook seems to indicate the beginning of Trump’s efforts to reignite his connection with supporters on social media.

The announcement also comes in the wake of revelations that Trump’s attorney, Evan Corcoran, has been ordered to testify in front of a grand jury regarding the improper storing of classified documents by Trump.

Corcoran’s testimony could have major implications in the investigation because topics that he previously refused to discuss under attorney-client privilege will be on the table. Judge Beryl Howell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia determined that Justice Department prosecutors had met the requirements for the crime-fraud exception, meaning the court can bypass attorney-client privilege.

Trump has drawn supporters and critics alike in the past with his unique campaign rallies, and antics from the rallies regularly made national headlines when Trump was running for office.
