Travis Tritt offers advice to Kari Lake: Do not concede Arizona’s governor race

While Arizona Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs has been projected to beat Republican Kari Lake in the state’s heated and tightly contested gubernatorial race, country music star Travis Tritt encouraged Lake not to concede.
“I’m not a politician, but (for what it’s worth) my advice to Kari Lake would be to not concede,” Tritt posted to Truth Social.

Many Truth Social users replied in agreement, mocking the integrity of the results.
Multiple news outlets called the race in Hobbs’s favor Monday, nearly a week after Election Day and following the release of some results from Maricopa County, the state’s most populous county that includes Phoenix.
“Democracy is worth the wait. Thank you, Arizona. I am so honored and so proud to be your next Governor,” Hobbs tweeted shortly after the race was called.
Lake, however, was quick to push back. She tweeted: “Arizonans know BS when they see it.”
Lake appeared on Jesse Watters Primetime Monday, saying the integrity of the election is questionable and promised to fight for every vote to be accurately counted.

“It’s [an] embarrassment and I’m going to fight for the people of Arizona that everybody’s vote is counted. This is sacred. This is outrageous what they did in Maricopa County,” Lake said. “I don’t know if there is any malicious intent to this mockery they made of the people who showed up to cast their vote or if this is just complete ineptitude, but either way it’s got to stop. Arizona will no longer be the laughingstock of elections around the world. Third world countries run elections better.”
Lake also blasted Hobbs’s position as secretary of state to certify the gubernatorial election, saying it is one of many unethical practices raising questions about the projected result.
