One man’s love for Chick-fil-A has set a record for consecutive days eating at the fast food restaurant, except for when it is closed on Sundays.
James Stinson of Texas notched his 1,000th visit to Chick-fil-A on Wednesday.

Stinson said he makes it a mission to go to the restaurant every morning that it’s open, including when he is traveling.
“Anytime I travel there’s gotta be a Chick-fil-A. Every time I go to Florida, we stop in Spanish Oaks,” Stinson told KMBT.
Stinson said he got the idea for consecutive visits after learning of another customer who visited 100 straight days.
On Wednesday, the staff at the Chick-fil-A in Port Arthur, Texas, celebrated the milestone, giving Stinson 1,000 “Be Our Guest” menu vouchers.
“Knowing he’s a community-minded person that he is, he’ll probably be handing them out to maybe some schools, or you know, people in the community,” said Becky Tschrihart, a unit marketing director for Chick-fil-A.

Stinson said he will begin scaling back his trips to two or three times a week. He said aside from the food, he appreciates the restaurant’s customer service.
Last summer, Chick-fil-A was voted the United States’s favorite restaurant for the eighth year in a row.
