Freshman Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) threw her support behind former President Donald Trump for president in 2024, becoming the latest congressional Republican to back him for a second term.

Trump played a key role in helping Hageman win her primary against ex-Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), a former member of leadership and vocal critic of the former president.

“President Trump stood with me for my election in 2022, and I am proud to stand with him in 2024,” Hageman tweeted.

The announcement comes the same day former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) announced her bid, which earned the endorsement of conservative Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) on Wednesday as well.

Hageman joins a number of House Republicans and five GOP senators who are backing Trump’s third White House run, among them Sens. Markwayne Mullin (OK) and Lindsey Graham (SC) and Reps. Elise Stefanik (NY), Matt Gaetz (FL), and Andy Biggs (AZ).

While only Trump and Haley have announced their bids, other high-profile Republicans, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Gov. Kristi Noem (SD), and Gov. Ron DeSantis (FL), are weighing entering the race.
