There is only one national anthem

There is no such thing as a “black national anthem.” Despite recent attempts by radical actors and so-called social justice warriors, so long as the United States of America exists, there never has been and never will be. Promoting such an anthem is nothing more than a continued coddling of the perpetually aggrieved and the Left’s latest attempt to infuse racial hatred and division in society. It’s indicative of the left-wing, social justice sickness that plagues our country.

The cowards at the NFL created this controversy when they succumbed to demands that a black national anthem be played before certain games (such as week 1 and the Super Bowl) after the George Floyd riots. It was one of the social justice initiatives implemented by the league geared toward combating “systemic racism.” Granted, there’s absolutely zero evidence that playing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” before football games accomplishes anything, but the NFL caved and agreed to do this starting in the 2021 season.

THE NFL SCOUTING COMBINE IS NOT A SLAVE AUCTION

Furthermore, one must consider the “brains” behind these initiatives. With such a sensitive topic of racism, it would be logical to assume a group of scholars, academicians, sociologists, statisticians, or historians, who have studied and analyzed these issues would be consulting with the league. Yet the “advisers” behind the NFL’s cultural leftward shift is none other than Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. Because if there is any group of people who know how to end alleged “systemic racism,” it’s obviously those from a hip-hop artist’s production company.

The “Star-Spangled Banner” is our country’s national anthem, and that holds true regardless if one is white, black, Latino, Asian, or any race and ethnicity. The suggestion that there could or should be a separate song, predicated solely on one’s skin color, runs counter to the entire point of the civil rights movement. The idea is unity, not segregation or division. The people pushing this agenda are not doing so for any reason other than trying to discredit our country’s history and legacy and tear down the societal norms and culture of the nation.
