Following his emotional performance of the national anthem at Super Bowl LVII, country music star Chris Stapleton says he’s not in a rush to relive the moment.

Stapleton, 44, best known for songs such as “Tennessee Whiskey” and “You Should Probably Leave,” caused many, including Philadelphia Eagles Coach Nick Sirianni, to tear up as he sang the “Star Spangled Banner.”

“Man, it felt great. It really did. The energy was good and the crowd was hyped up for the game, so that kind of gets you ready to go.”

The public, meanwhile, can’t get enough. Stapleton’s anthem performance gained over 2 million views on YouTube in the hours after the game, as many are comparing it to the 1991 performance by the late Whitney Houston.
