The show Wednesday night opened with three of the biggest names in the industry, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, and Miranda Lambert, singing a medley of Lynn’s hits, including “You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man),” “Don’t Come Home a Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind),” “You’re Lookin’ at Country,” and “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

Lynn died in October at the age of 90. In her last post on Facebook, Lynn shared a biblical quote.

“Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. John 3:20-21.”

There were also tributes to Alabama co-founder Jeff Cook, who died on Monday, and Jerry Lee Lewis, who died on Oct. 28.
