No details about the 11th victim had been released as of Monday afternoon, and only two victims’ identities — My Nhan, female, 65, and Lilan Li, female, 63 — had been made public.
The first 10 announced victims were five women and five men. Their ages varied from their 50s to 70s, the coroner’s office previously stated.
The shooting occurred at the Star Ballroom Dance Studio around 10:20 p.m. local time Saturday. A Lunar New Year celebration was taking place at the venue.
The shooter, Huu Can Tran, 72, was at large for several hours before police found him dead in a van from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. A handgun was found among the items in the van after an hourslong standoff with SWAT teams before they entered the vehicle.
